We began growing wheat at Upinngil in 2005, with just five acres of crop. More acreage and improved processing and storage space has allowed us to expand our production. We currently grow 20 acres of wheat, rye, and buckwheat. All our grains are grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
The crops are harvested late summer to early fall with our Oliver combine. Our seed cleaner removes the chaff and weed seeds and the grain is stored in a warm, dry place in bags or bins.
Our flour is milled fresh year round. The flavor is phenomenal and will always enhance the nutrition and flavor of your baked goods. Flour and wheat berries are available in our Farm Store.
We are proud to supply local bakers with grains and welcome wholesale inquiries from other food producers. Click here for more about our flour varieties and whole wheat baking tips. For a few of our signature recipes, click here.
